Entirety, Phased-in or Staging?

Designs can be implemented in their entirety, or they can be phased-in. Phased-in plans are constructed in stages; you choose the period of time that works best for you. Perhaps the front yard will be done one year and the back yard the next. A good garden designer can help you with this; I phase-in many of the gardens I implement. I’ve even worked with clients who wanted to do the work themselves and I acted as a consultant, guiding them through the process.

Before any work begins, however, an estimate is given outlining the costs of materials and the time needed to complete the job. Then a contract is signed so there are no surprises.
