After signing a design contract, the next step is measuring your property and creating a base plan. By coming up with key ideas on trace paper and laying them over the base plan, it becomes easier to see what the new design will look like. I have developed a plant data base which I show my clients to clarify their tastes in plants. I also take pictures of the property, load them on my laptop and use them in addition to the sketches to describe ideas as they arise in the planning session. [...prev] [next...]
